A couple of weeks ago I received The Sims Medieval: Pirates & Nobles expansion pack. I was planning to write an extensive review about this expansion pack. People really seem to enjoy our reviews and previews. So why stop now? Well, I don't seem to be able to play the games. I just bump into one problem after another, making it impossible for me to even begin working on a review. I'm a bit saddened by this. So far no one has been able to help me with the issues I'm having. If I don't succeed in properly playing the game next weekend, I will not write a review.
Obviously there were a lot more fansites on the Gamescom besides SNW. I will post link to other previews here when I find them! Did I forget something or someone? You can leave a comment to point me to the missing previews.
This year we're attending the Gamescom again! On Friday we will attend a behind closed doors Sims presentation about The Sims 3 Pets and The Sims Medieval: Pirates & Nobles. There will be more Sims at the EA booth obviously. So there will be lots to see and lots to report about!
Unfortunately The Sims Medieval doesn't offer the possibility to create stories within the game. Well of course, you can make screenshots... But there is no way to actually create a story to share with your friends online. That's about to change though! A couple of fansites have gathered and created a website with the main goal to let people upload their Medieval stories online! The website is called The Sims Medieval Stories. Click the logo to visit the website. Please note it's still in beta stage right now.
Recently EA revealed to fansites that a first expansion for The Sims Medieval is in the making: "The Sims Medieval: Dark Nights." To accompany the announcement, several sites were invited to have a joint interview Will Wright. We'll be posting the full interview soon, once we get the announcement. For now we are already allowed to post a few snippets of the interview:
