Rise to great heights as an acrobat in The Sims 3 Showtime

Thursday, December 15, 2011 - 23:55

In The Sims 3 Showtime players can explore Starlight Shores, a town where Sims can make their dreams come true. In this town full of ambitious amateurs players can guide their Sims to success, to beat the competition and to grow as a singer, magician or acrobat and finally become the ultimate superstar. Sims who choose to become an acrobat, will develop unique skills and get opportunities to learn new stunts and improve their performance. Acrobatic Sims start out as a pantomime street artist. By practicing small stunts they can build up experience and earn a bit of money as well. While they develop their skills, new objects, locations and clothing will be unlocked. All of these elements are useful during their career. Acrobatic Sims with an average level can show their talents during live shows on several stages. In their shows they can implement new stunts, such as balancing on a ball. When the players' Sims are successful, they can perform in front of a large audience on a huge stage. And this is where they can really show off their acrobatic talents on a special stage for their act.

You can now pre-order The Sims 3 Showtime*. All pre-orders will be Limited Editions expansion packs while stock lasts. The Limited Edition contains an extra location and stage to use in the new world. The stage is fully customizable with backgrounds, lighting, decor and special effects.

I received a mail from EA Netherlands the other day with information about The Sims 3 Showtime. I took the time to translate it from Dutch to English. This also means I am not sure about the Limited Edition for other countries. But obviously, Limited Editions are limited. So if you want one, I suggest you pre-order it quickly! :D
