The Sims Transmogrifier is a free creativity tool that lets you clone The Sims objects, and edit their name, price, description and visual appearance.
The Neighborhood Handler
The Neighborhood Handler is a program where you can easily manage your neighborhoods of The Sims with. If you don't have one of the expansion packs or The Sims Deluxe, you can have multiple neighborhoods by using The Neighborhood Handler. If you do have an expansion pack for The Sims, then you can make back-ups of your neighborhoods so they don't get lost when you want to uninstall the game. It can also do many more other things, like copying houses or families.
Blueprint
Blueprint is an object utility for The Sims that takes 3D input and pops out IFF object files for use in the game. blueprint allows you to tweak the imported 3D file, making sure it has the right textures and size, set the name, price, and description and set the room values and flags for an object. Then through a simple wizard, you export the object and create a brand new object for The Sims. This simple utility makes all the trouble of hand-painting 2D bitmaps go away forever! The preview of your object is done in real-time inside the program, simulating what your object looks like in the game. There are hundreds of free meshes available on the net for use with blueprint or you can create your own with almost any 3D program. blueprint also includes a full suite of 3D tools that you can use to create you own complex shapes.
Rug-O-Matic
RugOMatic lets you quickly and easily create rugs for The Sims, with your own pictures and descriptions! Simply 'drag and drop' a picture, name, price and description into RugOMatic, and press the 'Weave My Rug' button. RugOMatic automatically manufactures a new rug, with a text description that you can read in the game!

FAR Edit
FarEdit is a utility program that allows you to view and edit FAR archive files. FAR files are collections of files, compacted into one single file for easy transport. The Sims uses FAR files to pull together various types like objects, bitmaps, skins, UI graphics and meshes. With the FAR Editor you can preview bitmaps, view text files and export single files or entire trees. In fact, the FAR Editor allows you to create your own FAR files so you can package together your own collections and share them with other people!
SimPose
SimPose-ium (or SimPose for short) is an animation editor for the Maxis/Electronic Arts Game 'TheSims'. It lets you display a number of Sims and pose them in any desired position. It also lets you create keyframe animations. SimPose-ium lets you display predefined sequences of animations.
